May 5, 2025 – Paramount+ today announced that Kevin Pollak will join the highly anticipated third season of the hit original series TULSA KING, starring Academy Award® nominee Sylvester Stallone. Pollak will play the series regular role of Special Agent Musso, an FBI agent who has an axe to grind.
Kevin Pollak started as a stand-up comedian in San Francisco at age 20. Years later, Comedy Central would name him to their Top 100 Comedians of All Time list. Once In LA, Pollak’s role in Ron Howard’s Willow brought him directly to the couch of Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, a childhood dream. In 1992, Pollak’s role in Rob Reiner’s A Few Good Men, proved his ability to stand out on the big screen among cinematic icons. The unplanned transformation of becoming a dramatic actor was further established two years later, when Pollak co-starred in The Usual Suspects and Martin Scorsese’s Casino in the same year. Pollak has now co-starred in over 90 films, with four more due out in 2025.
New fortunes found Pollak on the small screen in 2017. After being offered the part of Moishe Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the worldwide hit won 20 Emmy Awards® in its first three seasons, including Best Comedy. The entire cast won Screen Actors Guild Awards® two years in a row for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Pollak’s first outing as a film director, the comedy doc Misery Loves Comedy, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and hit #1 on iTunes after two days. Pollak then directed the indie comedy, The Late Bloomer, starring J.K. Simmons, Jane Lynch, Maria Bello, Brittany Snow and Kumail Nanjiani.
Pollak was in pre-production on his next film to direct when he was asked to be a series regular for season three of TULSA KING. “I’ve been an admirer of Sly's throughout his entire career and could not be more excited to be a part of this stellar cast and extraordinary production,” said Pollak. Pollak is represented by Gersh and Nelson Davis LLP.
TULSA KING season three production has begun in Atlanta and Oklahoma. Season two followed Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) and his crew as they encountered new enemies when they encroached on nemesis territory in Tulsa.
In addition to Stallone and Pollak, the series stars Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike "Cash Flo" Walden, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.
