More feline adventures are coming to Cat Quest III with the Tavern Tales update, available now!

Mexico City, June 26, 2025 — A wonderful free update, Tavern Tales , is now available for Cat Quest III players on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam), and includes an exciting set of challenges that will test even the toughest sea dogs (or cats)!

This new update lets you choose from several stories within the game's tavern, each reimagining one of the epic boss battles—but with a touch of feline exaggeration! Each fight now features unique modifiers that increase the difficulty and offer new challenges: in the battle against the Boar King, for example, meteorites rain down from the sky! Captain Meowtallika's concert is now filled with electrical pulses that cover the entire screen.

For each new challenge completed, players will receive a new companion, such as Beakon, the fearless parrot who dives at enemies, dealing damage to everything in his path. Those who successfully complete all of the game's new challenges will unlock a secret battle that will test their skills.

New adventurers looking to become daring feline pirates can also take advantage of a special discount: Cat Quest III is available with a 40% discount on Steam until July 10, 2025.

Today's update follows the recent announcement that Cat Quest III will launch on iPhone, iPad, and Mac on August 8, 2025, exactly one year after its original release on PC and consoles. Fans can now pre-order the game on the App Store and enjoy all the content available on the PC and console versions, including today's Tavern Tales update, as well as new features like full touch control support and Game Center support.
