This handy guide answers your questions about what to expect from the Eclipse and Fringe maps coming with the mid-season update.
Mexico City, June 27, 2025 — Season 4 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone kicks off July 2, adding two new Multiplayer maps to the three that arrived with the launch of Black Ops 6 's new season. To help players be fully prepared for these challenges, check out this handy guide to the Eclipse and Fringe maps.
Eclipse (2v2 / 6v6): It's showtime
Stitch and his team arrive in Avalon, infiltrating the shadows of an underground nightclub. Neon lights flicker as they devise a plan to decipher Pantheon's codenames, but the meeting is cut short when enemy agents burst in.
Bring out your best moves on the dance floor while dodging gunfire and flanking targets. Ambush enemies passing by the DJ booth and smash through the destroyed facades on the walls before escaping through the corridors.
Drill the dance floor: Drill Charges are very useful in Eclipse. Much of the map is surrounded by walls that border high-traffic areas. Use your radar and communicate with your team to identify the best spots to launch a Drill Charge and take out some enemies on the other side.
Strategic Platform: The platform near the center of the map offers Operators some elevation and overall control over the central route. Master it with a Trophy System and good teamwork to secure control of Zone B and, eventually, victory.
Perimeter Perspective: Much of the dance floor can be seen from the surrounding windows and passageways, as well as from the DJ platform and booth. As you traverse the lounge or VIP area, keep an eye on the center of the map, as you're likely to spot an enemy.

Fringe (6v6): Reimagined for Black Ops 6
Relive Fringe from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 , reimagined for the first time in Black Ops 6 . Participate in the grand opening of Rolling Hills Distillery and engage in combat along the main road or venture into the bar for a closer encounter. Keep an eye out for snipers in the upper barn and along the bridge, and relive the adrenaline rush of trying to make it through the narrow loading and unloading lane alive.
Dominate the Center: There's no single right way to conquer or maintain control of the central area of the map. Whether taking a long-range approach from the east and west flanks, or flanking from the north and south, if you can make it there, you'll find an unexpected angle from which you can attack the enemy.
Information Survey: Pay attention to enemy spawn points and take a moment to reflect on the information you're seeing and hearing. Fringe is a dynamic map that offers a huge advantage to strategic players looking for the next kill. Take the longest route to flank or throw a grenade over the fence where the enemy can't see you. A small detail can make all the difference.
Route Blocking: Due to the multiple flanking routes in Fringe, it's crucial that your team control at least two of the three main routes on the map. Whether it's sending a heavy barrage of gunfire down the center route or using your loadout on one of the side routes, disrupting enemy movement and forcing them to play at your pace can be the deciding factor in any match.
