Diablo IV: The Sins of the Horadrim will be confessed starting July 1 in Season 9
Mexico City, June 24, 2025 – Blizzard Entertainment unearths the secrets of the past when Diablo IV: Sins of the Horadrim begins July 1. Purge blood relics influenced by the Charred Duke Astaroth, develop powerful Horadric Spells, and challenge the Growing Nightmares in a new late-game activity before facing a familiar foe and his demonic steed.
Quest Series : In Season 9, players will travel to Cerrigar and meet the druid Bryona, who must grapple with the decisions made by the Horadric mage Donan. Help Bryona protect her home and uncover the secrets of the Horadric Vaults.
Horadric Spells : Take advantage of powerful spellsmith abilities to customize and build your Horadric Spells. By combining powerful elements, players can create potent magical abilities that suit their playstyle.
Nightmare Dungeon Changes : To permanently shake up Nightmare Dungeons, Horadric Vaults, Crescent Nightmares, and new Nightmare Dungeon affixes will be available starting in Season 9.
Horadric Vaults are micro-dungeons found within Nightmare Dungeons that offer greater rewards and even more fearsome mummified enemies.
To further plunge the despair, Crescent Nightmares expose players to a chain of three Nightmare Dungeons that progressively increase in difficulty (as do their rewards). Fight your way through them all and face the Exalted version of Astaroth .
As the encounter progresses, Astaroth will dismount from the Amalgam of Fury and become two separate bosses. The Amalgam will resurrect after a short delay as long as its master remains standing, so plan your fight accordingly to take down this acolyte of Mephisto.
Other permanent features : Season 9 also includes mouse and keyboard controls for consoles, plus new unique items for each class.
Seasonal Journey : Progress through the Season of Sins of the Horadrim Journey to earn rewards like Dante the dog, a barking pet that will definitely bite too.
