Mexico City, November 6, 2025 — Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ‘s acclaimed Zombies mode arrives on November 14 with Ashes of the Damned, the largest round-based map ever created by Treyarch. From primary and melee weapons to GobbleGums, field upgrades, and entirely new game modes, this installment offers a deep and customizable experience for veterans and new players alike.
Explore Ashes of the Damned
Prepare to delve into the Dark Aether and discover locations like Janus Towers Plaza, Vandorn Farm, Blackwater Lake, Ashwood, Exit 115, Zarya Cosmodrome, and dangerous areas like The Fog. The main map will officially go live on November 14 at 10:00 AM PT.
Arsenal and progression
Black Ops 7 includes 30 primary and melee weapons, all compatible with Pack-a-Punch, rarity upgrades, Ammo Mods, and camouflage progression. Additionally, each weapon can unlock a unique attachment or camouflage reward through Weapon Prestige.
Tactical, lethal, and support equipment
From grenades and turrets to gadgets like the Hunter Bot or the LT53 Kazimir, equipment is unlocked through levels or can be crafted in-game. The Salvage system also returns, allowing players to create items at crafting tables.
GobbleGums and Augments
With 47 GobbleGums available (6 new), divided into Rare, Epic, Legendary, Ultra, and Whimsical, players can create custom Packs and use them in both Zombies and Dead Ops Arcade. Additionally, the Augments system allows players to modify the behavior of Perks, Ammo Mods, and field upgrades, with progressive research that carries over between installments.
Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades
Black Ops 7 includes 12 Perk-a-Colas (like the new Wisp Tea), 6 Ammo Mods (like Fire Works and Shadow Rift) and 6 field upgrades (like Toxic Growth and Dark Flare), all with level unlocks and specific Augments.
New modes: Directed, Survival, and Cursed
In addition to the classic round-based mode, Black Ops 7 introduces Directed (a guided experience coming in Season 1), Survival (confined maps like Vandorn Farm), and Cursed, a challenging mode with Relics that modify the game and unlock exclusive rewards in three difficulty levels.
Wonder Weapons and HUD customization
Iconic weapons like the Ray Gun, Ray Gun Mark II, and the new Necrofluid Gauntlet are making a comeback. Advanced HUD customization options are also being introduced, including the Aetherium theme and classic layouts for those who prefer a cleaner interface.
Dead Ops Arcade 4: Total Mayhem
The arcade experience returns with over 80 levels, 20 arenas, absurd weapons, vehicles, secret rooms, and the new SlayerMart, with over 70 upgrades available. DOA 4 now integrates full Zombies mechanics, such as Ammo Mods, GobbleGums, and shared global progression across Campaign, Multiplayer, and Warzone.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be available on November 14 for Xbox (Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One) and PC, where it will be available on Game Pass from launch, as well as through the Microsoft Store, Battle.net, Steam and PlayStation (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4).
